Clayton Equipment Company offers feeders and conveyors to meet numerous material handling applications.

Feeder Conveying SystemSystems or components

A full range of equipment for controlled and dust-free handling of dry solids and ingredients in the food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, plastics, minerals and ceramics industries. Single conveyors or complete bulk handling systems.

Flexible Screw Conveyor Economical and versatile conveyors for a multitude of products and applications.

  • Only one moving part
  • Low maintenance
  • Easy to clean
  • Consistent
  • Gentle feed
  • Optional mobile base plus bag dump station

Aero Mechanical Conveyor Ideal for vertical or angled conveying of a wide variety of products.

  • Friable, fibrous or cohesive materials
  • High throughputs
  • Batch transfers

Bulk Bag Dischargers Wide range of standard models as well as advanced models with patented features.

  • Loss-inweight
  • Integral hoists
  • Bag massagers
  • Spout & liner control
  • Mobile frames
  • Total containment of dusty, hazardous and poor flowing products

Pneuvac Vacuum Conveyors Designed to pharmaceutical and food standards.

  • Easy to clean
  • Minimal product degradation
  • Multiple inlet options include bag dischargers, feed bins and suction wands

Bulk Bag Fillers Dust-free filling of 500-4000 lb bulk bags and other containers.

  • Liner inflation
  • Compaction/ deaeration device for stable load
  • Adaptors for different sack sizes, drums, rigid bins and gaylords

Sack Packers A full range of models is available. They are designed for 24 hour operation with low maintenance and a minimum of moving parts.

  • Efficient and reliable packing
  • Any kind of dry product
  • Fills 50 to 100 lb. bags

Electromechanical Feeder Electromechanical feeders produce a linear motion that provides smooth, uniform, volumetric flow which is fully adjustable. Units are mounted horizontally, requiring no gravitational assistance for product conveying. Force output of the drives may be varied to decrease stroke, thereby reducing final conveying speed.

  • Fixed or variable speed drives available
  • High tonnage output with low maintenance
  • Operates on AC current
  • No vee belts or pulleys
  • Available with 1800, 1200 and 900 RPM drives

Air Powered FeederAir-Powered Feeders are primarily used in applications where simple, economical control of the feed rate is desirable. The double diameter piston vibrator guarantees starting at any mounting angle without the use of a return spring.

  • Ideal for hazardous, explosive areas
  • Only one moving part
  • Variable flow control
  • Quiet operation-less than 85 decibels
  • Instant start/stop
