Sorb-N-Ject™ TechnologyEver increasing environmental concerns have led large industrial boilers to seek reliable cost-effective methods to control sulfur and mercury emissions. Nol-Tec supplies custom-engineered dry bulk sorbent injection systems for mitigating SO2, SO3, Hg, HCl, and HF emissions. Sorbent materials are continuously metered and transfered from storage to injection ports on boiler flue gas ducts. The injected material reacts with the pollutants in the flue gas to effectively and efficiently reduce emissions. Each system is equipped with special features designed to ensure uninterrupted sorbent injection.
Dense Phase PneumaticNol-Tec's Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying Systems utilize small amounts of high-pressure low-velocity gas to gently transfer controlled slugs of dry powdered or granular materials through enclosed convey lines. These reliable systems minimize component wear; reduce product breakage, degradation, and segregation; and are ideal for abrasive, fragile, friable or mixed-batch materials.
The exclusive air management system enhances efficiency, lowers overall resistance, decreases air pressure requirements and improves material flow by injecting air into the convey line via strategically placed Air Assists™. The unique design of the high-pressure Air Assist manifold prevents back-feeding, which can occur with low-pressure manifold systems.
Dilute Phase PneumaticNol-Tec's Dilute Phase Pneumatic Conveying Systems utilize large amounts of low-pressure differential, high-velocity air to transfer powdered or granular bulk materials through enclosed convey lines in an airborne state. Dilute phase systems are extremely cost-effective and ideal for handling non-abrasive materials when product degradation or segregation is not a concern.
