Quick-Fit installs in about half the time of flanged ducting, reducing downtime for installation, floor plan changes and maintenance. Quick-Fit allows manufacturers to make changes to their ducting systems quickly, often using their regular plant maintenance workers.

Clogs are no problem with Quick-Fit. First, the smooth interior and laser-welded seams reduce snags. Also, because all parts clamp-together, no point in the system is more than five feet from a tool-free access point. In abrasive applications, wear-points can be replaced in seconds, without tools. If these changes are above the ground, they can typically be done with a man-lift rather than a crane.

Easily replace existing ducting

Nordfab's Quick-Fit  attaches easily to existing duct systems with an in-cut,  tap-in or adapter.   This allows you to switch from time-consuming and inflexible flanged or spiral duct  to Quick-Fit in stages, as you make changes to your machinery or floor plan.  And once you've made the leap to clamp-together ductwork, all future design changes are a snap.

The patented Quick-Fit design uses a barrel-type clamp to attach two rolled edges of ducting together.  A specially designed gasket inside the clamp seals the joint tightly.

Installers simply and quickly clamp each piece together without any special tools; the telescoping Quick-Fit adjustable nipple eliminates precise measurements.

Quick-Fit is used to convey dozens of industrial dusts, mists fumes and smokes.

Nordfab’s laser welded longitudinal seams are guaranteed to be leak proof. To ensure that other welds and gores on branches, elbows, and other custom parts are leak-free, Nordfab uses a patented epoxy caulking. These parts can be installed in seconds using the standard Q-F clamp and the between-the-joint gaskets.

Nordfab Mist Recycler

The Nordfab Mist Recycler (MR) can extend filter media life, reduce maintenance costs and decrease issues caused by capturing and transporting large volumes of liquids to the collector. The idea for the MR is simple: Capture most of the mist near the pick-up point and return it to the machine.

The MR houses a removable, industry-standard impingement baffle. This baffle acts as a system prefilter and mechanically extracts droplets and mist from the airstream. Liquid collected in the MR drains into a sump and is returned to the machine via a drain port.The MR comes standard with two drain taps so that it can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. The baffle and canister-shaped design cause only a minimal pressure drop across the MR.
