Sieving

High quality sieves, straining and filtration equipment and systems are required for many industries including: food, pharmaceutical, paints & coatings, ink and powder metals.

Lab, pilot and production scale equipment are available to process many quality wet & dry products.

Sieve systems can be designed with feeders, purge tanks, multi-decks, hopper, drums, and load cells to accurately provide detailed process equipment to many wet & dry applications.

Model RVM 15-E with bag dump station. 15" screen & center discharge sieve. Available with rare-earth magnet drawer.	Sanitary Inline Powder RVM-15E Sieve. (2) Sanitary contact parts, inline cover, powered vent, removable debris clean-out port, center product discharge, fixed or portable mounted stand.
Model RVM-12E All Stainless Steel. 12' screen diameter. All 316 stainless steel motor and unit. Center or side product discharge. (2) product contact parts with three quick release pan clamps. Available in single or multiple screen decks.	RVM-36 All Stainless Steel with Portable Base. The larger RVM®-22, RVM®-30, RVM®-36 & RVM®-48 with 22", 30", 36" & 48" screen diameters are four of the most efficient sieving and straining machines made. All units are extremely effective on many wet or dry applications.

Pilot & Small Production Sieving

The RBF series provides pilot and small production sieving and separation from pharmaceuticals to powder and slurries. Choices of 15" or 22" screens in totally enclosed units make these models very effective for both wet and dry applications, such as quality control screening of powders, liquid straining, product reclamation and particle separation.

Materials like paint, ink, cosmetics, ceramics, pharmaceuticals, paper coatings, powdered metals, resins, adhesives, latex, grinding media, toner powder, foods, powder coatings, nutraceuticals, electronic paste and many others can be successfully processed.

Typical Models

RBF-15 single deck, continuous discharge sieve, shown with 1/2 scroll. Excellent for sand, glass beads, shot, ceramic and zirconium beads.

A unique gyratory screening action is generated by a motorized adjustable off-balance flywheel. While the screen does not rotate, all points on the screen surface move in a circular orbit.

High Capacity Separators

The VS 30", 48" and 60" are 3 of the heaviest built sieves on the market.

Options include indirect or direct drive motor systems, explosion proof, TEFC or NEMA 4 construction with single, double or multiple decks. The screens are capable of 20 micron to 1 mesh.

Typical Models

VS0048, the mid-size model. The units include an adjustable eccentric weight system and a choice of direct or indirect drive motor system.

VS0060 as a double deck unit with an oversize spout and 2 discharge spouts. The decks are easily fitted together and held by clamping bands.

Filtering

This line of self-cleaning filters provides highly cost-effective solutions to difficult liquid filtration problems.

The filters use a simple & efficient cleaning process which minimizes disruption to flow. Selections of stainless steel, UHMW or Teflon® blades wipe element externally. There is a minimal amount of liquid loss during cleaning process. The filters are suitable for practically all liquids including those of high viscosity.

Other features include:
• Filtration levels from 3000 to 25 micron.
• Separate vessel and head secured by a clamp allow easy access to element.
• Maximum working pressure: 500 P.S.I. at 100 degrees C.
• Maximum working temperature: 200 degrees C (dependent on seal material).
• High quality 316 stainless steel wound, reinforced wedge wire or perforated elements.
• Available in the following materials: Head: stainless steel, cast steel or cast iron Vessel: stainless steel or mild steel.
• Full range of automated control devices available as optional extra (see separate technical data sheet) air or electric.
• Viton or Teflon® seals.
• Optional 15 RA pharmaceutical finish.
